I've been TAGGED!
YIKES!
Thank you Yolanda for thinking of me!
Here we go...
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to blog about their seven things and post the rules as well. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!
1 - I am a PROCRASTINATOR! I know, I know, it's hard to believe? Ha! I have always been one! I can't seem to break the habit, and, believe me I have tried! I leave most things to near the deadline and then I power blast through it! It always (most always) gets done.
2 - I am a TERRIBLE FRIEND! I rarely stay on top of correspondence, simple phone calls or a quick cup of coffee with my friends! Oh, sure I send the occasional funny through email to them. But, I don't give them that phone call, card or simple email that tells them 'I am thinking of YOU!' I must try harder!
3 - I am a CHICKEN! Bok-bok-bok! I don't take care of myself when it come to Doctors. I don't like the Dentist, although I have been going this last year. I need to go for a cleaning, but the PROCRASTINATOR in me will take over! I haven't even been for a check up (you know the one? And, don't start sending me threatening emails about it, either!) for a lot of years! I don't even have a regular Doctor. When I am really ill, I go to a Walk-in Clinic. Seriously, don't start harassing me about this!
4 - I am a HOARDER! Yah, who knew? If it's on sale, I won't just buy what I need, oh, no! I have to buy more and then just put it away. And there are no limits as to what I hoard; Fabric, Food, Scrapping supplies, toiletries etc.
5 - My HEART aches for my FAMILY! I have lived here for almost 14 years and, I didn't really give a whole lot of thought to the distance between us. I mean, I missed them and wished we were together for certain things, but, not like now. Now, I yearn for them to be closer, almost every day! I yearn to hang out with my Sister's, Deb & Wen. I CHERISH them! I appreciate their uniqueness, even if they don't!We have become such wonderful friends over the last few years. And, my MOM! Even though we cannot be together in close proximity for any length of time, I sooooooo miss her! And, I am very lucky because both Wendy and my Mom will be living here by then end of summer! Now to work on Debbie!!!
6 - I am a BITCH! For no apparent reason! Really, really! Especially with Kurt. We are not talking just a little bitchy, I mean FULL BLOWN angry eyes, loud yelling, possible tossing of items kinda BITCHY! And, no, I don't need PMS (pre or post) for an excuse! I am good at any day of the month!
7 - I FEAR being ALONE! All my life I have had misfortune along with good fortune! It has always been that way. I have a very REAL, very serious FEAR of loosing Kurt. Loosing him before we have had enough time together. I FEAR we will not grow old together. It is not just a thought once in a while, it is constant!
And on that positive note, (kidding) I tag the following people to share;
Wendy, Debbie, Megs, Kimba, Michelle, Robyn & Kathy.
Even though none of you have Blogs, you can email them to me privately or you can post them right here in the response part of this post.
Thanks for playing and have FUN!

Happy CHOCOLATE eating weekend!
I mean, really? CHOCOLATE is the only thing we, as adults, still get out of the event!
OK, well, maybe not me. Still trying to be faithful to my WW goals. Unless, I make a secret trip to Kelli's to share in some of her stash?
So, I wish you all a pleasant and 'springy' weekend!
I my self, and my husband, will be frantically trying to finish up all the loose ends of the major renos we did in the fall. There is still one room to put flooring in and plenty of little painting jobs to do. Kitchen cabinets that need hardware. Molding and baseboards that need to be done...
And, I still have Christmas decor on the front of the house! A bed in the basement that looks like a giant craft table, when actually it is the spare bed, in the spare room, that is supposed to be used when guests come to see us! Ha!
My In-laws arrive next week! Do you think they would mind sleeping amongst paint brushes, strings of Christmas lights, some living room decor that never made it back onto the walls after the renos, magazines & some pieces of wood that at some point were supposed to be turned into beautiful pieces of art for my craft shows last November, and a whole lot of other stuff that I can't actually describe because it is buried under all of the above? Hmmmmmm? How much do they LOVE me? I'm not gonna push it. So, then I guess I will have to add all of that to the never ending lists of 'THINGS TO DO" this weekend!
And, then there is the homely looking yard in which the snow has only recently just melted away that needs attention. Lot's of attention! You would never know I work for a Landscaping Company?
Just thinking about all the stuff we need to do this weekend, totally justifies the little shopping frenzy I will have to partake in Saturday morning for CHOCOLATE!
That is, right after my weigh-in at WW!
Happy - Happy everyone!

Where Have I Been???

I can't believe I have not posted in such a long time? You must think I fell off the planet?
Actually, my LIFE has been rather full as of late!
Hmmmmmmmm, where to begin?
Well, for starters I had the GREAT pleasure of spending an entire weekend scrapping! That's right, the entire weekend!! March 23 - 25 for POTP 's on-line Crop!!!
I went over to Kelli's on Thursday for one reason or another, and like usual, we never run out of things to say or do! Next thing we knew, Yolanda showed up with girls in tow. It was like our own little tea-party!
A couple of hours of chit-chatting later and much ado about the on-line crop,we had ourselves a date at Yolanda's for Saturday night!
I have never participated in an on-line crop and was truly excited about the endeavor!
Kelli and I packed up as much scrappin' materials, embellishments and tools as I could carry up Yolanda's 'scary' staircase to the carriage house! And, yes, I had to carry it all, as Kelli needed both arms to secure her body to the side of the building as she ascended the stairs! For those of you who know the story about Kelli, the Okanagan Bridge and Sturgeon, this does not come as a surprise!
Luckily for me, Yo' was there to assist! My arms, legs and back thank you!
What a FAB time we had. Laughs, food, scrappin', chattin', food and some brief moments of hysteria. Got home about 3:30 am. Too much FUN! I can't wait to do it again!
I LOVE MY FRIENDS!
Past that, the rest is kinda' boring - WORK! Yup, I am back at work and it looks like we are going to be busier than ever!

Wonderful World?
ABSITIVELY, POSOLUTELY!
(My Dad always said that!)
Okay, so...
I randomly met a woman (not in person) through Ebay. She was looking for 'something' and I happened to have 'something'! For a week or two we conversed through email ironing out all the details. We 'clicked' right away. She lives in Brooklyn, NY. I will probably never end up there? But, if I ever did, I would so look her up!
Once all was said and done, in her last email she sent along this quote:
"Friends are like STARS...you may not always see them... but they're ALWAYS there"...
All I can say is "What a WONDERFUL World it truly is when a complete stranger, whom you have never met face to face, considers you with the connotation of "FRIEND"!
Thanks!

LOST
On another note, LOST. I love this show. However, I must admit that this season has not captivated me like the first two seasons. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat each & every episode. Each show ended with a great CLIFFHANGER. It was like that book that you just can't put down.
This year I have been struggling to tune in each week. It's sorta been like flipping through a magazine. So far, this whole season has been, well, PREDICTABLE!
UNTIL...Last night!
Last night's episode made me exclaim out loud "Finally!" The ending was just what I have been waiting for!
Talk about MOOD swings!
