TIc tic tic tic...

Wow! So, where has the time gone? Weeks have slipped by since I last truly updated this Blog. Well, what can I say other than LIFE happened! Some good, some hectic, some great and some bad, and now back to GREAT, so, on with the update.

Early on in the month I attended a weekend CROP to celebrate National Scrapbook Day. It was put on by none other than Memories & More & the Marvelous MM Gals, which by the way I am so grateful to call my friends! What a BLAST! I always have so much fun with this group. I can't wait until next year! What a pleasure to spend time together with so many ladies I already know and some new acquaintances too, doing what we all love; Scrapbooking! Much thanks to all of you special people!

It took me a few days to recoup from the crop and then back to reality. Work is very busy for both Kurt and myself this time of year so, there hasn't been a whole lot of time for fun and games. I did manage to get my planters planted and the yard is looking wonderful! The weather is taking a turn for the Fabulous and we are enjoying spending our evenings outside.

My 22 year old Son, Jeremy has recently moved back from Alberta. I am happy to say that the choice to move to Edmonton has changed his life. ALL for the best! I am truly enjoying having him home. Those of you who know us somewhat personally, know we have had many obstacles to overcome over the years. Perseverance, hope, commitment and LOVE have certainly prevailed. I am soooooooooooo proud of the Man he is becoming.
And then, truth be known, I was thrown a real curve ball over the last couple of weeks. It took me a few days to wrap my head around the whole situation. I didn't really think that much about it at first. But, strike 1, strike 2, and then a hit that sent it out of the ball park, really threw me! Sorry for the bad analogy! One amazing Husband, some serious soul searching, a lot of reflection and I am right as rain!
All in all, I have had a full month! Currently, Tyson is keeping us busy day and night! Oh yeah, we are puppy sitting for our good friends, Robyn & Dave, while they are in transition from one home to another. They are actually moving to a home just up the road from us. I am so happy we will be spending more time together. Even happier that they only asked that we look after Tyson instead of asking us to help them move! Sorry, Robyn, but, it's the truth!
Our summer looks to be filling up with guests galore too! I will be pretty busy for the next several weeks looking for homes for my Mom and Sister. I can't wait for them to get here! Before I know it, summer will be gone! YIKES!
